What if the dead hunted you?
As an untrained soul seer, Grace Crawford has not a damn clue what they want. But she's about to find out.
After she discovers a mark on the dead that kills the living, her quest to figure out who unleashed it pivots to the half-demon Gideon. She’s got her eye on him, and he’s got his on her too—every inch of her.
As the mark haunts humanity’s steps and the death tolls climb, Grace realizes she’s in way over her head. But the lines between good and evil are blurred and choosing who to trust is hard as hell seeing as God is capable of wrath and Satan was once an angel.
Loving Kane nearly destroyed Briar once; now that he's Alpha he could be her end
.
Briar Stone rebuilt her life after her Were lover, Kane, abandoned her four years ago. She's got a job at a supernatural tavern, a loving magi boyfriend, Mason, and a side-gig reading auras. But none of that matters while her younger brother's a few doses from death with the psychotropic vamp venom he's hooked on.
When a series of brutal murders target the city of Cambria, the supernatural conclave is sent in to track the serial killer known as the Wraith. But they need help to find answers. Thankfully, Briar can inhabit the dead's final, painful moments and will do so...in return for the cash to afford a cure for her brother. But first she needs a way into the conclave, and her ex has just been made Alpha. He agrees to give her access IF she acts as his mate during the investigation, with all that entails.
Surrounded by the Were she once hoped to call family, Briar finds herself dragged back into Kane's world of sex and danger. Balancing her loyalty to her brother, against that of the man she promised to marry, she has to fight her treacherous heart and the growing connection to the lover who ruined her life. But she's not the only one seeking answers. The Wraith has his eyes on her, and he may be closer than she thinks.
Shadowed Moonlight, the first in a three-book, high heat, enemies to lovers urban fantasy series is set for publication with Hodderscape (Hachette) in June of 2024.
Gritty, intense, and clever, Marked For Grace is an immediately addictive, fresh spin in the paranormal romance genre. Just when you think you know where the story is going, it twists in unexpected directions and begs you to turn the page. A sexy, fun, slow-burn, steamy Nephilim/Demon thriller–this delicious debut has it all.

The characters Harper builds and (emotionally) tortures continually stun me; reading feels more like living amongst them than simply observing from the distance of the page. She creates and manages relationships and intensity within a dynamic and detailed story with such artfulness that you simply can't escape "Just One More Chapter" Syndrome, and you'll never be sorry. I can't wait to start gifting this book to every book lover I know for birthdays and holidays.

MARKED FOR GRACE by K.C. Harper is the kind of story that continues long after you reach the end. Harper’s impeccable pacing, dynamic characters, and romantic tension will leave you longing for more, desperately anticipating the sequel.
Harper delivers a unique, spell-binding story that blurs the lines of good and evil, right from wrong. She shines in her ability to leave the reader questioning who the real hero is in this tale. There were twists and turns along the way seamlessly interwoven with romance and battles that kept me reading page after page, chapter after chapter.
Harper’s dialogue is superb and her command of multiple POVs is exemplary. My favorite characters are the heroine, Grace, and her best friend, Noah. I will leave Grace’s love interest(s) a surprise for future readers, but I will say you won’t be disappointed with her choice.
I was lucky to receive an ARC of MARKED FOR GRACE. My only complaint is now I have to wait until book two is released. :)
