Developmental Editing Services

Developmental editing is the in-depth, big-picture review of your work. This process focuses on key elements such as plot, stakes, structure, POV, character development and arc, voice, world building, show vs tell, and pacing.

As a developmental editor, Kacie offers editorial services with a thoughtful teaching style to help solidify the foundation of your story. She's particularly focused on all romance genres and fantasy.

You will receive:

- Developmental edit letter

- In manuscript notes (as needed)

- Two (2) one-hour consultation calls to help with brainstorming and a revision plan.

Starts at $0.02 per word (USD).

This service is for authors who  have already had a Developmental Edit with Kacie. It includes feedback on revisions made after the previous edit, and suggestions for next steps (as needed).

Flat rate $0.010 per word (USD).

*A thirty minute consolation call can be added for $100
